Over 30 years making real decisions
I have been director and founder of companies in agribusiness, baking, construction, textiles, metalworking, steel structures, logistics and mixed-use projects — including VallejoGroup, with international expansion into Spain and Chile.
These aren't eight industries I studied — they are eight operations I ran, with their payrolls, their margins and their investment decisions. That's why, when I step into a company, I'm not there to learn how the business works — I'm there to look at it from the outside with the judgment of someone who has already run it from the inside.
In urban logistics and mixed-use projects, the consulting is further backed by my own field research on sustainable cities, mobility and 15-minute cities, carried out in more than 10 cities across Europe and Latin America.

Where I can add the most value
Industry and Manufacturing
Agribusiness, baking, textiles, metalworking and steel structures.
Mixed-Use Projects
Evaluation of projects that integrate housing, retail and logistics.
Urban Logistics
Last-mile optimization and consolidation centers.
Proximity Retail
Strategy for retail formats connected to the city.
The process, step by step
Every consulting engagement starts with the same method: understanding the operation or project firsthand before recommending anything.
First conversation
You tell me the scope: which operation you want to optimize or which project you're evaluating.
Diagnosis
I review the operation, the project or the available data, drawing on field research whenever the case calls for it.
Recommendations
I deliver a clear diagnosis with the decisions that, in my experience, make the difference in similar cases.
Ongoing Support
If the project calls for it, I stay involved through implementation, not just the initial diagnosis.
The deliverables, laid out
Every project is built by combining these four deliverables. We decide together which ones you need — not every case requires all of them.
Written Report
A document with the diagnosis, findings and concrete recommendations. It's yours: you can circulate it internally, bring it to the board, or use it to support a decision with your partners or your bank.
Results Presentation
A session where I present the findings to you and your team, with room for questions and discussion. In person or virtual, whichever suits you best.
Working Sessions
Regular meetings throughout the diagnosis, to review progress and adjust the approach along the way — not just a single delivery at the end.
Implementation Support
I stay involved while you carry out what was recommended, to resolve whatever comes up along the way. It's the deliverable that extends the longest over time.
How the price is determined
There is no fixed rate because no two projects are alike. The price depends on which of these deliverables are included, the scope of the operation or project to be reviewed, whether field work is required, and how long the ongoing support extends.
Tell me the scope and I'll send you a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours, with no obligation.

What kind of companies or projects do you work with?
Industrial and manufacturing companies, logistics and retail operators, as well as developers and funds evaluating mixed-use projects. The experience comes from having directed and founded companies in several of those fields, not just having studied them from the outside.
Do you work outside Peru?
Yes. VallejoGroup is expanding into Spain and Chile, and the field research on urban logistics, 15-minute cities and mixed-use developments has been carried out in more than 10 cities across Europe and Latin America. The format adapts to the project: in-person or remote.
How is this consulting different from a large firm?
There are no layers of junior analysts between you and the person doing the diagnosis: I work directly on your operation or project, using my own field data on urban logistics, retail and mixed-use development.
How long does a consulting project take?
It varies depending on scope — anywhere from a focused diagnosis lasting a few weeks to ongoing support throughout a project's implementation. We define it together based on what you need to solve.
What is the difference between consulting and mentoring?
Consulting evaluates a specific project or operation and delivers a diagnosis. Mentoring supports the person — founder, manager or team — in how they think and decide, on an ongoing basis. If you're not sure which one you need, tell me your situation and I'll point you in the right direction.
How much does a consulting engagement cost?
There is no fixed rate: the price depends on which deliverables the project includes — a written report, a results presentation, working sessions or implementation support — the scope of the operation to be reviewed, and whether field work is required. Tell me the scope and I'll send you a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours, with no obligation.
How do I get started?
Write to me through the contact page telling me the scope of your project or operation. From there we'll set up a first call to assess how I can help you.
