Certified Mentor by Business Mentor Madrid

Certification awarded by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d, a training program focused on enabling effective mentoring for entrepreneurs through relationship-management knowledge, tools and techniques. Certificate No. 38-014/22, valid through 2027.

On top of that, over 30 years of hands-on experience building, investing in and running companies across industries as different as agribusiness, baking, construction, textiles, metalworking, steel structures, logistics and mixed-use projects — this mentoring doesn't start from theory alone, but from real decisions made as an entrepreneur across more than one field.

  • 1:1 sessions or full-team sessions
  • Focus on strategic decisions, not just theory
  • In-person or virtual format

What I bring to each session doesn't come from a generic mentoring manual: it comes from having made real decisions — good and bad — as a director and founder across industries so different from one another that learning to move between them became, over the years, a skill in itself.

A good fit if you're in one of these moments

  1. Growing founders

You need guidance to scale your business or validate key decisions, without having to learn everything by trial and error.

  2. Managers and executives

You're facing an important strategic decision and want an outside perspective grounded in real experience, not a theoretical course.

  3. Full teams

Your team needs to align on vision and tools to make better decisions together, through guided group sessions.

The process, step by step

There is no fixed curriculum. Each mentoring engagement is built around what you need to solve, but the process always follows this same logic.

  1. First conversation

You tell me what stage your business or team is at, and what decision or roadblock you want to solve.

  2. Initial diagnosis

Together we identify what information is missing, which assumptions are worth questioning, and what is really at stake.

  3. Guidance sessions

1:1 or group, in-person or virtual, focused on concrete decisions — not general management theory.

  4. Follow-up

We review what has progressed, adjust the approach, and continue as long as it keeps adding real value to your business.

What the sessions look like

No fine print: here's what to expect in practice.

Length
1 hour

Length of each session, 1:1 or with your full team.

Cadence
Every 2 weeks

Usual cadence. It's the pace that leaves time to apply what we discussed and come back with real progress.

Commitment
No fixed minimum

The total length depends on what needs to be worked through. We continue as long as it keeps adding value, and we review it with you along the way.

Format
In-person or virtual

Whichever works best for you. Many mentoring engagements work perfectly well through virtual sessions.

How pricing is determined

The price depends on whether it's 1:1 or for a team, the frequency we agree on, and how long the engagement lasts. A couple of sessions to unblock a specific decision is not the same as a multi-month engagement with a full team.

Tell me what stage you're at and I'll send you a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours, no strings attached.

Before you reach out

How is this mentoring different from a generic course or program?

It doesn't start from standard theory, but from over 30 years of making real decisions as a director and founder across different industries — agribusiness, construction, textiles, logistics, mixed-use projects — plus a formal mentoring certification (Business Mentor Madrid). We work on your specific situation, not a closed curriculum.

What is the difference between mentoring and consulting?

Mentoring supports the person — the founder, manager or team — in how they think and decide, through periodic sessions. Consulting evaluates a specific project or operation and delivers a one-time diagnosis. If you're not sure which one fits what you need, tell me and I'll guide you in our first conversation.

Is mentoring only for startup founders?

No. I work with growing founders as well as with managers, executives and full teams at established companies who face a strategic decision and want an outside perspective grounded in real experience.

Is it in-person or virtual?

Both formats are available. We decide based on where you are and what works best for you — many mentoring engagements work perfectly well through virtual sessions.

How much does it cost and how often are the sessions?

Sessions are 1 hour long, usually every 2 weeks, in-person or virtual. There's no fixed minimum number of sessions: the total length depends on what needs to be worked through. As for price, it depends on whether it's 1:1 or for a team, the agreed frequency, and how long the engagement lasts. Tell me what stage you're at and I'll send you a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours, no strings attached.

How do I get started?

Write to me through the contact page, telling me what stage you're at and what you'd like to achieve. From there we'll set up a first call to see if we're a good fit.
